West Side Place occupies over half a city block, approximately 1.2 hectares and is located on the western edge of the Hoddle Grid with street frontages to Lonsdale, Spencer, Little Lonsdale Streets and Merriman Lane. It sits to the north of Southern Cross Train Station, the regional and interstate coach terminal and the suburban bus terminus at the end of Lonsdale Street. On Spencer Street, West Side Place is situated between Upper West Side to the South and residential towers to the North, with a supermarket and retail outlets opposite.
